I've asked Sefton council for a quote for either a bench or a bench plaque overlooking Crosby Beach. I don't know if they have such benches, but I thought I'd get the info.


I love that idea, Fetch, and would be happy to contribute.

We have been talking about a beach run. Obviously at Another Place/Crosby and satellite runs in other parts of the country, so all who wish can participate.

Sounds a good idea. Maybe a virtual run as well has an actual meet up would be a good idea. I would imagine for those that don’t live near the cost a run during their holidays could be their tribute run.

Never met him in person but always came across as a lovely man.

If you read about his nightly beach runs you could almost have been running along beside him.

He always encouraged others especially on the How was your run thread.
