TRO - seen as too centrist and didn't have an insipring campaign in 2015. I think she was seen as a good potential Chancellor / Home Sec (think Hammond or Darling) rather than a front-woman.

Cooper was dismissed as an option by someone on TV this morning, I forget who, with 'oh, her time has passed'. Which is very short-sighted because she's one of the few Labour women I think would provide the intelligence to lead an effective Opposition. There's something about Jess Phillips and her 'I'm right working class, me' schtick that grates.

Some good news.
The colossal data fuck up here is now fixed. Tearing out of hair and much swearing now finished.
Never let two key members of staff take maternity leave without sufficient succession planning.........is what should have happened. Shame it didn't.
I definitely need a large stiff drink. My governor definitely owes me that tonight for digging the company out of this hole.

Are the SNP considered far left wing? Or are they considered to the right of current labour? Just interested as everyone goes on about Marxism and communism in regards to corbyn, but a lot of the headline policies are things that have already been put in place in scotland by the SNP. And various of the policies are already in place in large areas of Europe. It's hardly radical in that sense. Just radical because the media says it is as it doesnt match up with what the the government that has ruled for by far the longest amount of time believes in.
Or am I just missing something?

Here's a strange thing. I know virtually nobody who would consider voting for Mark Francois. And yet in the Rayleigh and Wickford constituency in Essex, there were 39,864 people who gave him a thumbs-up. 39,864 people who approve of Mark Francois, and all in the one place! Quite remarkable.
