Definitely voting Labour tomorrow though I'm still expecting the Tories to win Kensington back. I'll see what the closing polls are at 10pm and then I'll go to bed, possibly after a G&T to drown my sorrows!

Billy applied to count but didn't get in for some reason. It's probably a good job as he assessments Friday. I'll be staying up. I took Friday morning off, though I still have to get LittleD up for school. If it looks really depressing I'll go to bed. See you you all in here. |

Yeah WS. We've got our informal staff party, so I'll probably stay there until Sunderland declare then come home. If it's as depressing as I think I'll be in bed by 1.

Prediction time (setting myself up for a fall): Tory majority but only by 15 SNP tighten their hold in Scotland. Lib Dem’s do better than expected with 19 seats. Boris’ WA is passed before the New Year. Corbyn goes but the replacement process sees them out the picture for 6months while the sole of the party is fought over. I’d like to say Starmer or Thornberry get in to provide a proper opposition in 2021 : but I fear it’ll be Rayner or Long-Bailey. This time next year we are arguing about the cliff edge possibility of no deal after the transition period ends in 20 days. But it will be extended another 6 months. Uk economy remains sluggish compared to rest of EU. Germany overtake us on annual Growth once again and only Italy lies below us in the table. (And I’ll get a marathon pb in 2020). Well one of the above will never happen. |

I've pulled an all nighter every GE since 1997, when I was listening to a combination of the BBC world service and various French broadcasters, while living in Alsace. I'm so utterly disillusioned with the whole thing now that I'll probably not even bother with the exit poll and just go to bed. |

Lib Dem candidate endorses Labour rival in Stockton. independent.co.uk If Parliament gets hung, it will be tactical voting wot dun it. If it isn't then tactical voting's scope to ever change much is probably gonna be questioned! |
