SP - I am working at a polling station, so currently sorting out paperwork, signs etc and preparing my refreshments ready for the long all-day shift. Looks like a lot more people have chosen to vote by post so might not be too busy!

Corbyn could probably promise everyone a million pounds and they wouldn't vote for him, not sure its got much to do with policies. WS mentioned Corbyn's attitude to the EU and Brexit policy (a vast oversimplification) but I believe that analysis has shown that leavers are the issue for Labour not remainers who I presume realise their only chance given Lib Dems aren't getting in is a Labour led government. If someone can come up with a Labour policy to appeal to leavers other than we're leaving, I'm all ears. |

SP I had the option to work in a polling station but Aberdeen Libraries are very short-staffed so I couldn't get away from work.

SPR - but... there's some evidence some Tory remainers ARE ready to vote for Corbyn: theguardian.com And Tory remainers are a bigger contingent that Labour Leavers. Both Labour and Tory parties tonight are apparently worried in places where they didn't think they should be scared. |

Ok - Simon Wren Lewis, another uni professor (this time Economics), has been blogging a while on the drawbacks of the tactical voting sites. He has done his OWN recommendations after the YouGov MRP poll, and to be honest I can't argue with 10-20 I checked. If you're not sure. Check here. mainlymacro.blogspot.com (Kensington is Labour recommendation - by the way) |

I’ll be pulling an all nighter Thursday. I love watching the machinery of our democracy in its raw, most brutal form. Chuck in the odd Portillo/Ed Balls moment, and you have a gripping nights viewing. Only personal note is knowing the LD candidate in St Albans (she’s from round here), she’s nailed on for a LD gain by all accounts. |

Chrisull - I'm saying remainers aren't the problem so that isn't surprising, leavers are the issue.
