Well the first question will be whether 100% of the headbangers will vote for the WA, if so, the split will take place over the trade treaty.

Still crossing my fingers that the polls have missed a big chunk of youth participation vs old folks reticence. But I appreciate that's probably misguided thinking.
In the end, this is what I wished for - the last parliament to be removed and a new one put in its place. It's democracy (one flavour of it, anyway), and living with the outcome is a key part of that.

I just checked, the percentage of under 24s that voted increased significantly in 2017, with slightly less than 70% voting labour, the actual number is still well behind other age groups, so it is a bit of a forlorn hope.

Yes, I know. But until the votes are cast, I still think Karim can win

Voted on my way to work. Small queue so maybe slightly busier than normal. Our polling station had a massive undecorated Christmas tree!

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Sushi, a bloke on your FB said voting "wasn't for him". Did you get any response to your challenge on that?
I just don't get most people who don't vote because "politics isn't for them". (That's not Gobi and Happy Times because they have both explained why they choose not to vote and while I don't agree, I respect their position).
There was a fun FB meme of "FFS, grow up, politics is about your actual life, health, kids' education, community...." etc. which made me chuckle! G

Apparently busy in our local polling station pre 8am.
Turnout out up 33% in this house (as we have an 18 year old now).
