Raemond, we probably won't notice the European Council, given the embargo on political reporting means we can't be told about anything which might influence our views on the day itself, and we'll be soooo excited about whatever we get after the results are declared.

Although a Presidential Visit from Boris' big cousin will be totally newsworthy, and with a bit of luck he'll foul up and drop Boris in it up to his neck.

Allegedly someone's had their twitter account hacked and the contents of their direct messages are now being published online - apparently they're 'pretty explosive'. You'll find the story buried away on the tech page of the BBC website!

Could be interesting for Mr Banks!

Obviously there's now the difficulty of having people publishing or referring to information which is stolen, which to a degree is a crime in and of itself. So maybe the criminal law will prevent publication. Though you'd expect it to be widely available fairly soon!

Anyone up for Saving Mr Banks? ;-)

One of those tricky moments - moral/public interest/legal/personal impact.
Glad they didn't send me the data!

You may be right, Markymarkmark, in the UK it might be underplayed. I forget that news there and here can be a bit different.

Not much hope of ignoring it here, they close one end of the road outside my office and I have to go a really long way round if I want to get to my favourite lunch place.

Corbyn needed a result and I don’t think he got it. Not much will change after this.

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.

*** NEW US election PREDICTOR *** Predict:

1) Number of electoral college votes Democrats get
2) Party to win the Senate (Democrat or Republican)

Do the prediction like this: 312 D D - you win if you get the first number right and no-one else does.

Johnny Blaze 360 R D
Bob 312 D D
EarlyRiser 306 R D
LindsD 298 R D
