I know that views are now extremely polarised but I find it hard to believe anyone can support Boris and his wing of the party now.

I will be looking at the opinion polls taken in the last few days that appear in the next couple of days through splayed fingers. Last one ComRes has Tories/Labour now level. Hopefully that is a direction of travel. (Survation has a 3% gap between Tories and Labout now, so it looks like it might be)

Like I said, everyone needs to vote tactically, really I'd take Lib Dems, SNP, Plaid Cymru, Greens, Labour, Cornish nationalists - anyone who isn't trying to provoke a riot currently. One side of my family came from Czech, where of course a fascist takeover happened within living memory. We are so fucking complacent that it can't happen here. Of course it can.

If xenophobic anger and blinkered nationalism can be used successfully to win an election, I seriously fear for the future.

Very good baz :) I liked rae’s wallpaper a few pages back too.

The opposition need to remain calm and not be goaded into a mindless emotionally charged scrap as that will just play to BoJos advantage.

Did anyone notice another Boris lie last night, the delay to Brexit "....costing us over a billion pounds a month..."

What Johnson said in relation to Jo Cox was disgusting and very upsetting.

Bit speechless this mooring. PM saying best way to honour Jo Cox is to get Brexit done.

What a fucking cunt.

Given his recent experiences in Yorkshire he'd better not visit Batley any time soon.

Think here Barry Sherman i would be safe again in a GE and to his credit had a good go at the facist party yesterday.

It's places like be the Holme Valley which could easily be Tory again.

Brendan Cox talked a lot of sense on Today. Am going to try to be a bit more understanding of the opposite viewpoint. Hard, though.

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.
