Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Walked with D1 today. Aside from running the last 50 or so metres we power walked all of it and were only 5 mins off her all time PB which was a run/walk.

Great running Minimag :-) Sandhurst for me. A little quicker than last week, there were definitely fewer people to chat to.

Enjoyed Faskally Forest parkrun in chilly but pleasant conditions. Probably the hardest in Scotland, but also one of the most scenic.

Fairly lacklustre parkrun for me, mostly in a vacuum after moving up to 2nd place well behind some speedy person. though I let the person behind sprint past me at the finish.

Coincidentally, he was the same age cat, and has exactly the same PB as me (which I have achieved no fewer than 3 times on that course), that he achieved the week after I last hit that time back in 2019.

He has done one more parkrun than me though, so we aren't actually the same person!

Well, it was worth getting up at 4:45 to make it to Newcastle...not!

All three city centre-ish events cancelled on the morning due to ice, which I only discovered after finding it out at Jesmond Dene and then driving round to Town Moor (and paying to park!).

No complaints (other than to the weather gods) as I'm sure it was the right decision, just could have had three more hours in bed!!
