I know everyone believes that their own local parkruns are the best ever ![]() If you like trails and hills, you just have to visit Watergrove ![]() |

Two of our juniors ran just outside 17 mins this morning, at two different parkruns, and not particularly quick ones either. Both personal PBs and age cat course records (JM11-14).

As I won't be travelling to my nearest one on Xmas Day, thats my last one of 2021 done. No spectacular times, I'm currently 3 minutes behind where I was running in 2018, but I am three years older... Looking forward to a full year running in 2022, if things go to plan I can run my 250th on my birthday on the 25th June, if I miss 5 parkruns between now and then (sadly it won't be my 25th birthday...) Now that will be a cause for celebration... |

Got an 8 second course PB, a 2% age grade PB, just 17 seconds off an all time PB set about 8 years ago I think when I was much younger and faster, and less than 30 seconds away from being able to claim to be a sub X minute runner which I'd never have thought possible. Bit disappointed with the run though as my 4 legged and barking turbo charger for some reason refused to pull on the out bound leg so I was setting the pace. Did get a tow for the return leg, which is definitely useful, but could have smashed my times in good conditions today (not crowded and not as muddy as normal) if the woofer had been on form from the start. Oh well, try again another week. ![]() |
