I'm online for my lowest total since there was only 2 parkruns to chose from
100 mile or so round trip to Bushy when I started in 2006 so 12 in year 1 followed by 14 in year 2 when there was Bushy and Wimbledon. Currently I'm on 14 so it will be my 3rd lowest total and my lowest amount of volunteering ever as well. I will run at least 1 more this year possibly 2 as my friend (who I beat to 250) is about to hit 500 and if I do 1 event before his 50th I can hit 400 on the same day but not sure :¬)
I have been to a few this year where I have not run or volunteered but just to support friends. I just stay out the way.

Think I've run 32 this year, with the last 15 being consecutive weeks. My most in a year by a long way, but that's due to having one within 2 miles of my house, and 2 others within 10miles.
I've then got one official volunteer, but have also been photographer twice (but that hasnt been recorded).
Going to miss it this weekend though as racing on Sunday and promised that we would go and get the christmas tree.

I'm heading for my lowest total since I first found out about parkrun. I've done 2 this year and might finish with 3 if I do Christmas.

Conversely, having done first parkrun in 2008, I've done more this year than ever before. Club has a wee "parkrun winter series" which is encouraging me to try some different local ones. Parkrun is a funny thing! G

I have taken up chasing down the tail walker after a spot of marshalling.

CW, I can also recommend QE if you’re going to be heading that way. We did it last week, and whilst I found it really tough (I’m rubbish at off road running, and there was a lot of mud), it was still good fun. It’s not a course for fast times, so hopefully shouldn’t be a problem before your race on Sunday. I can also thoroughly recommend the breakfast in the visitor centre after if you’ve got the time to stay.

I did QE in the summer after a week of rain. The exposed baked clay (?) with water on top at the lower section was horrible. Slippery and like sheet ice to run on.
Avoid that and stick to the gravel/mud bits to be surer underfoot!

HB, are you timers and scanners broken then? If not, want to donate them to a good cause?
