"Beeston's a bit of a faff for me to get to even though as the crow flies I am not a million miles away to the south."
I worked with someone who (a long time ago, before Clifton Bridge was built) went into town, escorted a young lady home to Clifton, then had to get home and decided it was a good idea to swim across to Beeston to save having to walk all the way back to Trent Bridge. Fortunately he survived, but was most of the way to TB anyway by the time he got to the bank!
Good News about Woolaton - my B-I-L is moving back to Notts soon and that will be his NENYD.

I must come and do Wollaton - I grew up in a house backing on to the park, we used to climb over the wall after closing. Did I ever mention the New Years Eve I got arrested on Trent Bridge?

I'm up in Lewis Nov 2, have offered to help if they are doing a trial or anything. Good luck to them! It's another long and expensive trip for anyone looking to collect all the Scottish parkruns though! G

Isnt he schedule to do the last 5K (and all the ones before) sub 15? Yep, just worked it out 14:15 per parkrun or 2:51/km. No one will beat him I reckon, even with 46 secs head start
