Massive failure, Edison. Massive. Even if it was a million existing parkrunners taking five minutes off their PBS and a million new parkrunners posting times overall two minutes slower than the previous average. Two million healthier happier people - the figures would say it's a disaster.

Er, ;-)

Reading parkrun today and my third go at this one, but first for both my children. I haven't been there since 2011, but the run is just the same, mostly on grass or gravel path near the Thames. I did a sensible personal worst with Bournemouth marathon tomorrow.

They go to cafe in Palmer park about a mile drive away, though a bit less of a walk. It was nice but we were there the week before they start doing full English breakfasts.

Groundhog, I guess the cafe is Tutu's place - she's a regular local parkrunner :-)

I'm down in Exeter next Sat for the GWR on Sun, any recommendations for a nice parkrun down there?

Exeter Riverside is flat and pleasant. I loved Killerton though, some great views at one point but that might be more tricky underfoot in wet weather and you will want to look after your ankles I suspect. Teignmouth is flat and firm. I haven't been to the newer one at Haldon.
