I saw that post from Goole on their volunteer situation. They did get some people having a go at them in the comments when they couldn't find any posts from them on Facebook calling for volunteers. It did look like they only got a load of volunteers step up once they had made the decision to cancel. At least there were a majority of comments that were understanding their position.
