Yes to Linds - a lot of our "filed" emails made their way back into inbox rather than in folders.
Other than that - and loss of contacts list - all has gone well.

I like to think I'm laid back & very patient, but I fear the new gmail system has to go to a "special place in hell."
Ive tried three times now since last night & I can't get into the system. It accepts the log in & password okay, then up comes a screen saying "Loading gmail," but that's it. It just doesn't load.
Oh dear LindsD, sounds like your in need of putting your feet up with cake & tea & switching your computer off.
As I alluded to in a previous post on here, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I think I've been lucky - ours just seemed to move over seamlessly.
Could do with a few more volunteers for Saturday though, and the website still has the old address.

Linds, the emails back to the inbox would have happened when the migration ended, before that time Gmail wasn't meant to have been touched. After the migration, the only way emails will go back the inbox is if one of the core team that has access has moved it there!
Contacts from roundcube are apparently going to get emailed to you so you can reimport them to Gmail. It's in the latest FAQ document.

12bardavid 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' - well it was broke (Flickr) so they fixed it. By migrating to Google Photos it made sense to migrate the email as well. Gmail is far better than the old system, its just different so will take a bit of time to get used to it. The mobile interface is way better so should make people more productive. Should if you have problems, I can probably help out.

Prospect's is all running quite smoothly, I am relieved to say. I was put on vol co-ordinating in case there were any issues, I think it was some sort of test as I'm the oldest and least IT literate on the core team, but so far so good - *fingers-crossed emotithing*

HellsBells - the website will continue to show the old email, mails to old or new address all go to Gmail - it's in the FAQs.
You could have lost some mails though that were received but not read before yesterday morning (11Feb) - I had to forward a few.
There's been lots of discussion in the EDs facebook about this, if you have serious problems refer it to your ED to sort out!
