We did too.
I'm struggling with the 'conversations' in Gmail. I sent an appeal and every reply, because it has the same subject, is in one long conversation with a repeat of my email. I'm scared of missing one. Can I turn this off?

Yes you can
top right, right click, then into stings, 2/3rd of the way down under general topic.

Yes, that is a bit confusing. I thought I had somehow forwarded a reply to everyone at first, only a couple of tests to myself reassured me. It would be good to switch it off if possible.

All ours used to come into one inbox too katypie.
I've finally managed to get logged into new system.
We work in that we have two RDs - one of which does all admin for 7 days. That includes volunteer emails & general queries. Once results are done & run report written we then handover admin to next week's admin RD.

RD does all the volunteers for us. VC only works on the day.

You can set filters in Gmail to pull emails into a certain folder. I’ve only done it from the app at the moment but to do that you go into the relevant folder (label) , press the settings cog and add to 'automatically add future messages'. I’m guess this doesn’t remove it from the inbox though, just adds the label. You could capture all volunteer message to the volunteer folder (label) by ensuring the title had [volunteer] in it and then setting the filter to subject contains [volunteer]
