I’d not heard of FB PDG before, so just had a quick look. I was immediately put off by the number of reply comments to the posts. I really don’t have enough time to be ploughing through all of that. I’d lose the will to live I’m sure!

One person I'm always happy to have start in front of me at Milton, though I'm going to overtake her for the foreseeable future: parkrun.org.uk |

Though she is an exceptional outlier, and the kids in front of me recently going "come on, let's push up the front or we'll start really slow" aren't going to get that pass any time soon. Sorry, that last post might be seen as wanton stirring, and all it was was maybe saying that sometimes it is more complicated than it appears, but using a rather poor "hard cases => bad law" example.

Anyway, here's a lovely* map of NYD doubles. In Scotland, the Hazlehead-Aberdeen double was way bigger than any other. A lot from Whinlatter to Keswick too. Not looked further south in detail. google.com In general, green early, blue/purple later. Click on a black line to see the double number. *Or horrifying, YMMV |

DG, I would question the wisdom of running in Parkrun with a buggy with those kind of issues unless you start at the back and avoid traffic.

I did the York/Heslington double. They are only 3-4 miles apart so I suspect had a v high number of doubles?
