record at Tunbridge Wells-- complemented by a healthy selection of Bubbly!

Local MP turned up (cabinet Minister) and volunteered (quite usual for him) few jokes about whether he could organise the finish funnel based on recent experiences

Ran with awful virus, and spent Christmas Day under a pile of blankets.
Saturday will be a struggle!

Bedford got 430, which is a Christmas record I think and a sign of the usual January upswing :-)

648 at York, lovely atmosphere and a great festive sight. Just over 2,000 at Bushy apparently! 😮

371 @ Poolsbrook parkrun yesterday, more than double the number they had Saturday! Nice flat, fast and friendly course. Sure I'll be back when I'm in the area.

A record 738 at Forest Rec in Nottingham yesterday, bit of a queue for the tokens that so went back beyond the finish, but no-one minded.

We had a bit of a 'mare with our tokens yesterday - for some reason, the tokens between 70 and 100 (they're on kilt pins in 10's) had not been put back on the pins in anything like the right order last Saturday :-0 .
