Yup started a couple of minutes before half past and we didn’t start running til just before 9:37. There were lots of announcements and that RD does love to talk!

I marshalled at a very wet & windy junior parkrun this morning. There were 2 runners! One was a first timer - he won, and the other was a regular girl who walked, danced & pouted her way around. We got much wetter than we should have done.

After my crazy parkrun attendance in August, 4 weeks in a row I haven't been since. Next weekend I am meeting an old friend so we have chosen to meet in Luton and attend parkrun. I believe a new event for me , the following week I am off to Llanelli(Sandy Water) again(3rd visit) to meet another friend. I feel that may be it for 2024 unless we make a Christmas appearance |

Tamworth Castle Gardens for us this weekend, along with other Fetchies. We've been away so much this year that I've hardly seen my home parkrun.
