57.5 Degrees of Pain
Really enjoyed Pontefract at the weekend. Wasn't sure about a lap inside the racecourse with two additional little laps of a small lake (especially as I once did Hexham Marathon and didn't enjoy lapping a similar course many times), but it worked as a course.

At 618 it was also easily the highest numbered event I've done.

I’m hoping to visit Bug Hunter Waters, but it will depend on the state of our volunteer rota. I tried to go a couple of weeks ago, but ended up RDing instead

Either the beautiful but tough Faskally Forest course or a lie in for me. Depending on alcohol consumption Friday.

Quick question for those of you who do a bit of tourism.

Do any of you know of a parkrun anywhere which has runners "crossing over" one another? By which I mean, for instance, runners cross a crossroad for instance east to west, and then later, cross the same crossroad, but south to north, if you see what I mean? A conflicting movement.

I've got a plan in mind but I'm trying to avoid narrow bridges...

Yes, although probably not as bad as you may be thinking. At Bournemouth the fast runners have completed their first small loop before the tail has reached the start of it.
