Wouldn’t be a problem in Scotland, Snail. With parkrun starting at 9.30 here I’d need to run a significant PB to even know if the cafe opened at 10! In fact, it’s widely asserted that the original reason for the 9.30 start in Scotland was that the cafe in Pollok Park didn’t open till 10. Now important for other reasons of course with the very late sunrise time in the northern Highlands and Islands in winter.

I have a NENDY to do tomorrow at Broadwater parkrun in Godalming. It's there event #11 which I need for my Wilson Index - a quite pointless thing to do and I'm only doing it as it's a new nearish event that I have given a decent amount of time to "bed in".

Ahem - you lot can believe what you like ;-)

Oh, and if anyone hasn't been on the parkrun thread this week, I'll summarise the last 100 or so posts -

You can now use an image of your barcode from your phone (scanned, screenshot or photo would probably work). All your previous barcode forms are still acceptable. If you would like to criticise parkrun HQ for any aspect of this decision please follow the link in the side bar to the other place.
