Back to my home run this weekend, Sandhurst. For the first time since catching Covid in early September I allowed myself to run hard and...

..got my fastest time since march 2020 :-) it was just under 27 mins. Very happy with the feeling of putting a good effort in and not getting so out of breath i had to walk. I celebrated with a nice coffee and chat with friends in the cafe.

Again in Sandhurst for parkrun. An improvement in time by a minute over last week when I had recently given blood. But picked up another injury to go with my ongoing glute/piriformis issues, this time an Achilles. :-( Service was slow in the cafe as the owner had popped out for provisions and then his car broke download, so they were short staffed. Still, the club Sandwich was really good when it did arrive.

Dunstable Downs this week for a well attended invite event for a number of local running clubs. Unfortunately café didn't open till 10
