Stevenage parkrun was a really nice run. It's a very pretty park with a large lake to run by and some woodland. I liked that you had options of some trail sections or running on tarmac nearly all the way. The only minor problem was the cafe only opens at 10 so they're weren't any parkrunners there. They did a really nice breakfast bap though. I met a Fetchie as well, Hatterfan, who was here as he could still get to see Luton play at home in the afternoon.

Also, I just volunteered for my local on Christmas Day and New Year's day for set up and Tail Walk. I'll get a job round the course on set up and I'll see if whoever's at the back wants company. I should think about a costume. Running leggings and a Santa top, maybe?

so sorry not to have been able to meet you, but glad you enjoyed my home parkrun. Most people find it surprisingly pleasant (except that tiny hill at the end!!)

Not Mushroom at the Inn
Just sharing this for parkrun fans.

For anyone close to Millom in SW Cumbria this weekend, Sat 18th Dec is their 5th birthday.

To help celebrate, Joss Naylor will be running his first parkrun. They are wanting as many as possible to join in and support / celebrate with Joss.

The course has now changed from being one of the hardest in the country (think knee-deep in mud) to a fast purpose built track.

I don't think they've had a VM85 runner before, so he may be in with a shout for the course record..!

Anyone been to Black Park recently? I'm off there tomorrow and wondering what the course will be like and whether its worth wearing my fast shoes.
