It's under the cover I know. It's mostly gravel track but I think can be mushy or a few puddles. Hope you have a fun time.

I want to do Stevenage I’ve done their half twice and like the area. Think the half takes in part of the parkrun course. Is is round or near the lake Groundhog? |

I'm at Sandhurst again. Going to give it a gentle run out to see how my physio is doing. Then I'll be volunteering on Xmas day and New year's Day (but also running ). I'm being a little selfish as I've waited quite a long time to get to my 500th run and I'm on 493. I'm hoping parkrun doesn't shut down before the end of January.

Looby Loo You start running by the lake on the west side then at the South end you loop back slightly further away and run towards another pond. I think we'll over half in site of the lake. It's very pretty. I did go to the cafe but it only opens at 10am. The breakfast bap was worth the wait. |

I ran Black Park about 5 years ago and I think it's mainly woodland trails but I think you are right GH, there's a lot of tree cover. I think I'll just take 2 pairs of shoes and do a reccy before hand.

Looby Loo let me know if you go to Stevenage any time. And yes you go through part of the parkrun course on the half.

Reasonable run at Sandhurst today. Definitely down on numbers pre Christmas. There was cake for someone's 100th, fruit cake and lemon drizzle which were both excellent. I realised it had been quite a few months since i last had cake at a parkrunners.

I also tried the full English at Pistachio's cafe in the Memorial park. Really good quality sausages and bacon and chunky bread for the toast. Delicious - breakfast and lunch done in one hit.
