Don't get me started on tourists who think they are great for doing 86 parkruns at 84 different events and NEVER volunteer.
Those are the people I want to see my v100 T-shirt - as I leave them behind. Passive aggressively making the point that many volunteers are runners too and that maybe they should take a turn once in a while (never mind the fact that HQ tell us we mustn't do that). No value in it amongst our regulars - they already know how wonderful I'm not.

It was only because I noticed at the parkrun I did last Saturday, I was the only one of 135 parkrunners to have the little 100vol symbol by their name, that made me look into getting the T shirt. I'd love to encourage more people to volunteer and if getting a currently rare top motivates them, all the better! From what I see from the emails I get from the parkruns I am opted into (because I used to have several regular venues) events are not having an easy time filling the rosters

I just wish the volunteer teeshirts were completely different colours to the the running achievements…I first saw that last photo and thought it was your r250 . I love the lilac colour of v25. I just think they would stand out more in a crowd.

Yes, LG - I also think it would be better if the volunteer shirts were different colours from the others. I am pleased that we now have them though and hope it does encourage the majority who don't volunteer.

I have also heard tales of many parkruns struggling to fill their rosters. We certainly are.

Ok so you got me curious
Since Jan 2006 (parkrun 69) I've only done 410 official parkruns, I have done a number with no barcode, you reach a point where it doesn't matter. Officially only volunteered 153 times but given I helped set 3 up I can assure you I have done a lot more. However, I am not sure when I last volunteered as I started to lose the love for parkrun somewhere around 2014.
As I say we have moved to Cannock and my other half is quite keen so maybe just maybe I will do more again but I will never ever purchase a volunteer t-shirt and don't care if my volunteer number is never updated ever again and I will get upset if someone calls me a hero.
I volunteer sometimes because I run sometimes , no more and no less. We didn't start parkruns for worship and t-shirts we started them because as runners we wanted something closer to home.
Like I say I think I am from another time and appreciate my comments may not be for everyone. I apologise if you love your volunteer stuff and good for you for helping to run a parkrun.

I was curious about what data parkrun had on me for running and volunteering
Beyond knowing I was past 400 I runs I didn't know anything else.
I have been to quite a few it seems but I'm amused to see that I have only done Reading and Woodley twice , I lived next to Palmer Park for 4 years so the Readingites will know how close both were to my house yet have done
parkrun du Château de Pierre de Bresse 4 times :¬)
There is a lot of information

Gobi - as you say, different times so different perspectives and no universal 'right answer' but there is a point in there we agree on - I also object strongly to being called a hero for volunteering at parkrun
