Did Blaise Castle parkrun this morning. Lovely course, parkland and woodland. Nice cafe at the end.

Something weird happened though....

I parked and bought a ticket and put it on the dashboard.

When I returned to the car after the run, an identical ticket was under the wipers. The car park requires reg number and that had been filled in too.
Any ideas what happened?
Either someone was doing a random act of kindness and didn't see my proper ticket, or there was some form of parkrun promotion I wasn't aware of, or someone was desperate to meet me (though no number had been filled in).
I truly am baffled....

Had a nice run at Tøyen parkrun and met a Fetchie! Sampson. Lovely to chat to him and his partner in the café. We realised we both were wearing Fetch buffs 😀. Now I know where Sampsonia came from in Conquersize!

Hah Teddy maybe it printed twice?

Monsal was on but our race was cancelled which was a bit a of a shame especially as the weather has been alright so far (but isn't that just typical!)

Sheffield Castle was fun. It threatened to chuck it down, but stayed dry. Such a lovely event, just over 100 runners today.

I like that parkrun Sombrero-ho-ho-ho, the year I did it I got a SB and first lady, couldn't believe it as it's really hilly!

Missed meeting the closest I have to a parkrun twin today at Elgin. Never met him, but we started on the same day in 2009, and he has run 323 times to my 325.

Keighley done. My 93rd Parkrun. Nice hour or so in cafe after, with friends old and new. Sausage roll still warm from the oven pig

57.5 Days of Xmas. Nice !! All those numbers around me fell by the wayside many many years ago. (2011)
