The trouble with that one, DQ, is that everything hurt so much by the turn around point, I couldn't really take in the view!
(You are correct, of course, a beautiful parkrun! One of those strange coincidences, I walked from the briefing to the start beside someone I'd never met before who previously lived right next to my home parkrun in Reading!)

(Sounds good V'rap. Will be caravanning just outside Brigham. I'm sure I will be able to get away for a bit while OH is fishing!)

(Sounds like your OH has minimised his van pitch to fishing pitch travel time westmoors 🤣)

I would love to get the sleeper to Aviemore and run the parkrun there.
I've not done any really scenic parkruns (none done in Scotland yet), although Parke and Killerton have their moments. The Hamburg one is quite nice for views of the Alster. You can catch a glimpse of the sea from the Jersey one, and Teignmouth is right next to the sea.

Haldon Forest has some great views. Must do Parke again a I haven't done it for a while.
I'm missing Yeovil Montacute, it was a great location with a great team. Hope they can find something around there soon

I’m a parkrun tourist next Saturday…any recommendations or info on Clumber Park or Sherwood Pines?

Just looked on Clumber's page.... Don't forget there is no parkrun at Clumber Park on Saturday 18th September due to the Festival of Food and Drink and also on 25th September due to Race for Life. We'll see you again on 2nd October.
That may make your decision for you. I've done Sherwood Pines and it's a nice (undulating) course

I was at End of the Road Festival near Blandford last weekend. My NENDY from the festival location (Larmer Tree Gardens) was actually Henstridge Airfield so that's what I did. An interesting course, flat mostly grass paths, with very enthusiastic marshals (lots of bell ringing).
I had to get back so didn't sample the cafe, but did manage a good deed. I found a dropped barcode then you my pace to ask anyone of it was theirs, eventually someone knew the owner so I could hand it over.
My usual mid-festival parkrun would be Blandford and I went there on the way back to camp, popped in to the leisure centre and got a shower. A perfect Saturday morning.
Only downside was testing positive for Covid on Tuesday after so I've missed parkrun this weekend.

Probably Cannock but looks like I may return to parkrun next Saturday.
My other half has been on 49 since before Covid so a casual jog with her followed by cake is looking likely.
