I had singled out Wimpole Estate but I could just change my mind now

Wimpole is definitely prettier but between the hill and the terrain it is substantially slower than Storey's Field! (And SF parking is free :) )

40 min pacer tomorrow. I am not sure I can run that slow so it might just be a fast walk

Volunteer 22 tomorrow. Number checker. 3 more to go then I'll go back to running it instead for a while (while I'm not injured!) Do love my local wee parkrun. Wonder if we'll top 100 runners tomorrow? :-) G

No.12 having run as a 40 min pacer I will say it is a little Insulting to walk. I was thanked for at least looking like I was running

I used a very short shuffle stride.

My Mrs is 3x 5km runner and she looked apauled at the thought of someone walking pacing her. To be fair she gets annoyed at me when I run backwards :-)

I'm pretty sure that if I could still keep up with a 40 min pacer, I wouldn't care how they were doing it!

I am packing away tomorrow at my local so I can run then marshalling at Junior on Sunday. It will take me to 38 volunteers.
Fair play on the timekeeping I'd be too scared to do that.
