On the other subject of the day my bookends appear to be Strathclyde and Stonehaven.
My PB was at Drumpellier but I’d grant that Strathclyde would certainly be quicker on a windless day. OK that a windless day when I’d done any training recently.
Stonehaven though I’ve run twice and I would definitely say Camperdown and Tollcross are both tougher but the table disagrees.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Of all the counties that might have had the hardest parkrun, I would never have expected it would be in Norfolk. Those sand dunes must be hard going!

I think I'll start one either running directly out into the water somewhere or maybe an indoor one that incorporates 5k worth of ball pit ... just to claim the title of 'toughest 🙄
You're always going to have to work hard on the sand based ones (Yarmouth, Woolacombe etc) but it's a bit 'meh' IMHO and has no appeal here.
Give me a Whinlatter or a Lyme Park for a challenging terrain any day of the week instead.
My bookends are Isobel Trail and Whinlatter with my parkrun PB set at Congleton.
Interesting to see a lot changes towards the harder end of the list from the previous 2019 ratings. Churchfield Farm 579/580 and Gainsborugh 554/580 now both gone. As well as Storthes Hall which I would have expected to have been up there but never 'officially' ranked.

Millom still listed as ranking highly too, though it's probably at the other end of the list nowadays!

Torbay Velopark (23) and Woolacombe Dunes (705). Can't believe the one in Norfolk is harder - do they have a travelator too?

Pegwell Bay (7) to Woolacoombe Dunes (705) here. Pegwell bay came up quite short for me and I have heard others say the same. It was my first time sub 20. Woolacombe is pretty hard, probably the first time I walked at parkrun (when I wanted doing run-walk support or tailing). The Dune of Doom was hard!
