@NZD I was a little shocked when I saw it this morning ๐ Ouch again @Welshpoppy Besides the high HR, night sweats and runny nose I really don't feel too bad. I haven't tested for COVID though. My main event seems to always be preceded by a bug now ๐ and I had even started to be cautious so as not to over train and make myself vulnerable. Not as tough as I used to be ! |

@@alehouse we did Peel parkrun for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Ran a progression with last mile at 3 hour mara pace. Solo I'd take a v02 max of 52 any day ๐ Hope your toe is ok @Welshpoppy |

Thanks everyone toe is sore but fine. I would also be happy with 52 Vo2max as mine is 9 lower than that. Are you raring to go for tomorrow 0061? |

I'm fairly relaxed about tomorrow WP. Not on my best form so not really likely to win a sausage. I've had a bit of a headache too for a couple of days too. Proud to run out in the England vest though.

Yes, saw your tourism, @OO61 ! I walked to watch at FM which was an easy choice given that it is at the end of my road! I hear good things about Peel...but not when wet! And go well tomorrow! Trust you are well by the end of the week, @Solo ! |

@Solo I hope the cold clear quickly. I do not think that an the indirect estimate of VO2max based on HR provided by your Garmin in the present of a viral illness is a realistic estimate eof your actual VO2max. I hope that the estimate of the estimate of VO2max provided by Garmin will return to a more realistic value as soon as the cold settles. @OO61 I hope all goes well at Chester. @Welshpoppy it is good to hear that the toe is fine. Today I did jog segments of 10 min, 16 min, 15 min and 4 min with intervening 1 min walks. My knee remains happy but fitness is only returning slowly. |
