Reassuring words @Canute Thank you 🙂 Those little figures can mess with your mind if you are not careful!

Pleased to read you still have a happy knee.

finding that decorating is a lot more tiring than it used to be :(
so running has taken a bit of a hit this week
did get out for 40 minutes or so today, with some speedy for me 15s 'strides' at the end - more sprinty than they should have been, but quite fun :)

as long as the knee remains untroubled, you're moving in the right direction @Canute - good to see :)

All the best for your race tomorrow, @OO61. The England vest will give you an added lift.
Encouraging progress @Canute. The fitness will follow.

Steady slow-moderate 55 min / 8.6 km this morning. Legs a bit dull after yesterday and not at all inclined for any speed work. Fitness still looking on track though (737 b/km).

Slightly different route to usual, including a newish small extension further to the west that I hadn't done before. Skips the 'reps of death' hill. Not particularly to my liking, though not certain I got the route 100% right. Extra twists and turns, and small ups & down, with net EG only 2m less. Think I prefer to swallow the hill as a single shot and cop the extra 2m EG.

@Rosehip I have started to notice lots of things don't feel as easy as they used. I think keeping running fun is very important. Sounds a good run!

@NZD I tell myself hills are good for me but there are days I just wish they weren't there! Well done for keeping everything on track 🙂

Looking forward to following a few Chester runners. I think there will be some good results today. 🤞
