feeling left out with no flu or Covid jabs. That said, I had a blood test which meant I had the opportunity to get needled.

You can obtain flu and Covid jabs privately if you're feeling left out 😉

Have my jabs tomorrow morning at 10:39 am precisely 💉

eL Bee! is booked in for jabs next weekend (he's on the NHS list because of his dicky ticker, what the welfare state gives the travel insurer takes away) and I'll try to get mine done for a fee at the same time.

Flu tomorrow, covid in 3 weeks.
(by the local GPs/surgery but in the village hall so they can process 4 - 6 people at a time)

Which is fine, other than the car park and local village road is clogged for hours with 100s of over 65s all driving and trying to park. Absolute chaos. So I walk and avoid all that.

The biggest hold-up this morning was people not knowing their NHS number no. having to go through name/address/d.o.b details - surprising how much longer that takes.

Clearly the NHS app has work to do in reaching the 65+ demographic (I'd guess it was mainly the 75+ group - apologies if they were younger than they appeared!)

Our surgery is (well, always has been) happy with name on a bit of paper and they match to the schedule later. They go for speed!
Not needed my NHS number here before, only at the mass centre ones in 2021/22.

My bug bear is people going in wearing 16 layers of clothing, and wanting a long chat at the same time. T-shirt and gilet if cold, for me, and normally the conversation is "Good Morning. Right Please. That was quick. Thanks"
