I'm in, Geri and Frank. Geri - I see you put a PB from 1981 in your profile - I haven't dared do that as I thought all the betting fraternity would be freaked! Mine are all in 1985 and 1986. There ought to be a way for us old gits to register "age group pbs" don't you think?

Hey, welcome Toks - u can lurk here till you're 50 if u like!
So when did we all start running then - for me it was around 1982 as I kept on getting fat whilst playing squash (it might have been the beer).

NZC - I'm aiming to do more sub 4 marathons all around Europe by the time I'm 60, stay healthy and maybe enjoy running small races all over the UK. I didn't compete much in the last 10 years or so and had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. I've just done 4 races in 5 weekends!
have a good time geri - it's sofa time for me - a bit of R and E for the legs without the I and C!

Forest Runner
Hello. Still trying to pretend to myself I'm not 50.
We had a fun night at the gym last night for our regular customers, with games and quizzes with prizes and food and drink. One of the questions in the quiz was to put the 10 contracted members of staff into age order, starting with the oldest. I had nothing to lose as I am the oldest, but it was quite amusing that someone placed the other John as older than me (he was 25 yesterday, so just half my age). Ok, so the person completing the quiz may have got confused between the two John's, but with one referred to as older John and the other referred to as younger John, it should have been fairly obvious. A few others didn't have me as the oldest, so I feel complimented.
