And what are HF holidays? I was lacking in PMA yesterday, my head just couldn't keep my body going due to issues with my uncooperative dodgy old foot/hammy/glute, so only did half the mileage I'd intended/wanted to in a Challenge. While I appreciate that growing older is definitely preferable to the alternative, it's a bugger that it takes older bodies so much longer to get over injuries. Well, my old body, anyway - is it just me?

The consensus seems to be that when you retire you run out of things to talk to your spouse about, so you go on HF holidays to meet other people and get away from each other, then have lots to talk about when you get back. Meals are taken in common - tables of 8 at this place, and you socialise in the bar before and after dinner. It’s all very polite and well behaved. I think we’re enjoying it.
