Some of my kids are earning far more than I ever did.

Walking. Fast walking is a skill which a lot of ultra runners try to develop..not "race walking" (which I tried and find so hard but have done it during injury periods). I find walking hard going let alone walking over moors and all but even though it seems hard I find it's only just possible to get my heart rate into a training zone, it's the effort on legs which is the problem!

Nicely put Steve. I walked for an hour and 40, give or take, for a TSS according to TrainingPeaks of 25.
I hurt the next day - and I get a TSS of 30 for an hour of yoga.
All this leads me to conclude that in some circumstances TSS is worse than useless, but maybe that’s a discussion for another thread.

I’m going to guess that TSS is driven entirely by heart rate.
