flip Jun 2023 11:43am, 29 Jun 2023 6,059 posts	0 flip What did you do about fuelling in the end flip? I didn't really. I had a good meal the night before and some porridge with honey in the morning. I took a drink with a high 5 tab in to drink in the bus. I figured I could stop at one of the feed points if I felt the need but tbh I'd stopped for the float a few times and knew I was having a nightmare swim and just wanted to finish. If I'd stopped at a feed station I may never have started again. This will also need to be looked at but I never in the world thought I'd take so long ( and don't intend to do so again) so it wasn't a huge part of my thought process. I had sausages and beer after. In that order. You only need one arm to eat susauges and drink beer 😂 Looking at the mile splits this morning, I was almost double my easy mile pace at times . I guess something was just wrong and not just my shoulder.
