Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Are you pulling it down so that it goes all the way inside out? And is it a back zip?

Before you get out, pull the neck out and let water run right down the front.

Yes. It stops it from sucking onto your skin. Yes, take it off so it ends up inside out.

Don't worry, it will be much easier when it's wet

I wonder if for your first go you could have someone on hand just to help? I know with front zips it is slightly more difficult to pull it all the way down. I know Silvershadow had a front zip neoprene costume that was tricky.

I treated myself to a front zipped shortie from the open water swimming society website shop. Was very disappointed, although I could get it on and it was great to swim in I can’t get it off my shoulders without help. I’m sticking to my decathlon cheapie back zipped cossie.

That's interesting. I was considering a chest zip wetsuit for the winter as I really struggle to get a back zip one done up on my own (it involves bending forwards to put some tension in the zip and doesn't always work). A bit of extra winter lardiness doesn't help. I thought that perhaps a chest zip might be better in that respect.

Neoprene gloves arrived yesterday ;-)
