D2metres apart air hug 4 Christmas
I love my Dryrobe, it was a present to myself a couple of years ago. I would suggest the long sleeve version. I've worn it to events other than swimming i.e. to an outside theatre performance this summer... money's worth and all that! It feels really glamourous

I have a dryrobe so can't comment on other makes, but I love it, toasty warm. I don't change in it but throw it on over layers ASAP. I have short sleeve but would go for long sleeve if buying again.

I'm hoping for some Christmas present guidance from winter open water swimmers. I'm sure I've heard mention of some sort of mat or tray for standing on after swimming. I'm not sure whether it's just to keep your feet off the sand or whether it's something that you can pour a bottle of warm water into or quite what it is, but does anyone use anything remotely matching this vague description and is it any good? Thank you!

This from decathlon is a bargain at £3.99 - it opens out into a changing mat, then has a drawstring and you can pack it back in it's bag afterwards decathlon.co.uk |

I bought a cheap bath mat to stand on while getting changed, its got a rubberised base and is big enough to wrap over the top of my feet to warm them up a bit while clothes are going on. I've not heard of anything waterproof for putting warm water in, but a hot water bottle is always a welcome accoutrement!

it was a sod to find in the shop though - had to get a staff member to find it for me it very handy as my local lake (former gravel pit) has a very sharp gritty sand

Domyos is the gym section. That's great - cheaper than their Olaian surf one!
