Mine was, IMO, cold although summer...I enjoy a boxing day dip but was the 1st one in AND 1st one out on Friday! *2 in skins, 2 in wetsuits. I'm the skinniest. Was brrrrr getting in, fine for swimming a while, then I was first one out! 15, 20mins for me? But, yup I'd do it again ✔

I'm finding weight does make a difference.
The 'Chester Frosties' call it 'Bioprene'

Love Bio neoprene. We call it natures neoprene.
It makes so much difference. I think partly that’s how we survived in skins all last year
Finally a bonus to having a curvy figure

I’ve noticed postive changes though. My arms starting to be more toned. Also my skin is really smooth
The mental postives are just too many to list
I think naturally neoprened or wetsuited swimming through winter is a wonderful gift

I did a swim at Oldshoremore beach yesterday (very North of Scotland). No thermometer but the water was ‘bloody cold’ (well below the 16/17* of late). I’ve enjoyed swimming in summer and getting in longer swims but I’d forgotten how amazing it feels to swim in proper cold water.

Love Oldshoremore. Went there last year - but didn't get in the water!

Sfg, I haven't been to Bewl but I know it's a lovely setting. Don't you have to book to swim?
