Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Miserablist - people are doing something they’ve done for years and enjoy. Let’s take the piss.

Grrr! My journalist buddies keep writing about Wild Swimming (rather than golf or 5-a-side football). How can I stand out from the crowd? I know I’ll write an obnoxious article about wild swimming.

That pool looks amazing!!

Isnt it really very odd how the article aims at middle classes too! I have not seen any of that in my swim groups - we are all really down to earth, practical people with an earthy outdoorsy love of the land and water...

They dont know what their missing

And actually Aldi mens fishing bin n braces is my dryrobe option of choice! Is like living in a sleeping bag - absolutely brilliant - and £25!

Isnt it great that it's coming to longer swim season - 41 mins on Saturday down the river - GORGEOUS

There didn't seem to be a thread devoted to open water swimming, so I thought I'd start one.
