Open Water Swimming

My hands were still cold and I had to stop and get them out of the water 3 or 4 times before I acclimatised. I might try some sailing gloves to see if they're any warmer.

Does anyone have any advice on reasonably priced wetsuits for those of us who've become more, er, "generously proportioned" of late? Like most things, when I look at size charts, it seems that nobody makes anything for people who are my size and shape...
