Jabberknit, that's a genius way of replacing worn-out feet on socks!

That’s so funny about the socks!

Those crocheted toilet roll covers with the dolls in are what gave crochet a bad name I think!

I will raise you a crocheted sofa syphon cover in the form of a poodle.

My mum knitted me lots of things. Later she did things out of magazines so I had a knock off Lady Di pink Andean jumper complete with lamas, probably from Woman or a similar publication.

Ha ha, I remember my dad's aunts making crocheted toilet roll holders. MIL knits padded hangers still...tried to give me one but I have no use for them. My stepmother loved hers though and had a few friends who wanted some for themselves!

That moment when you took the toilet roll out from under the cover and realised that the doll's legs had been sawn off at the knees :-O

V’rap...I’m still a bit amazed by that outfit 😀. That skirt is something else.

And it is beautifully made.

It's fully lined and drapes beautifully. I wore it to the school Christmas party. The boys still didn't want to dance with me but the teachers seemed impressed.

I haven’t ever crocheted anything to wear but I have the Eclectic jumper on my to do list.
In a blatant attempt to increase my readership, I have shared my latest knit on my blog.
