lol. No I did not make it! MrsTea was desperate to get it finished so that she can start her Christmas present - which is another project. Not many presents that you can give in bits

Good of you to own up, MrTea, I was prepared to believe you were an ace crocheter, but am happy to transfer that over to MrsTea, who clearly has fabulous yarn skills. :-)

I've got started on the 2nd sock of the pair. Cast on became easier last night, as I got into a flow. It was a much smoother action and felt more natural. I did the tricky 1st row - it always seems a bit tighter than other rows - and I got started 'in the round' with another couple of rows done before bed, so the ribbing is well underway.

Before Christmas I finished this blanket for boy3. Started in 2013 and worked on very intermittently since then. It could still do with a border but he's using it every day, so maybe in warmer weather I'll tackle that.

I've now started a blanket for boy1, with a tighter deadline as in theory he'll head off to Uni next September.

Beautiful, poppy. I’m sure your boys will treasure them. My Nan crocheted me a blanket to take to uni 36 years ago. It lives on the back of “my” chair now and I use it most evenings at this time of year
