I need to tackle another couple of WIPs before casting on anything else. I have a mock-plaid blanket, a couple of jumpers, a cardigan and at least one pair of socks all finishable but languishing in bags.

Love the basket GM. I learned knitting at school but my mum showed me how to crochet basic blankets but she was left handed so when I tried to learn how to do proper following a pattern crochet it seems I'm holding the hook and yarn the wrong way.

I am firmly sitting on my hands rather than having another go at crochet. I have 2 sweater wips, tiger socks to start, hats for OH and me, the mask shop, marmalade to make and I have just agreed to give up 4 days next week.
Must. Not. Dig. The. Hooks. Out.

I made a lot of granny squares as a child crocheting. Only now am I able to make something round well...I made a crochet bag in the round last year, though I still need to add the handles onto it.

I need to start a crocheted bag for my daughter. She chose the pattern on ravelry, but it has a round base and she wants it flat, like a typical cotton tote bag size. So I need to adjust things a bit.

Busy in the Etsy shop last week but looks a lot quieter now so I'll be able to start that this weekend.

I've shared this before. It's the best thing I have ever crocheted and uses lots of different stiches

It's a 4mm hook, Garfield and it suggested DK wool. I think that's what I used.
