Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I rarely have more than one knitting project on the go! At the moment there’s only the 2! I’ve got to get on with some curtains soon for our camper van, I told my husband I’d get them done by Christmas!

Thanks again GM. I have a 4mm hook floating around the house somewhere plus lots of DK yarn.

4mm is about right for DK. If you want it stiffer then 3.5. And yes, with crochet keep an eye open for UK vs US terms.

Crochet is incredibly versatile. In general it’s not a floppy or stretchy as knitting so I like it less for garments, but I’m still discovering new techniques. There are some amazing modern patterns now. This is my next project in mosaic crochet ravelry.com

That's stunning SS. I can just about manage an Attic 24 blanket pattern with the step by step instructions.

Wow, SS; that is gorgeous. It's very eye catching. I think I'd spend ages looking at it, picking out the different stitches and colours.

I really like that, Meglet.
