Ha, I know the lady who is behind Truly Hooked! Is it 4-ply? Could make a lovely shawl out of it, the sparkle will look ace...

Acrylic is great for dolls clothes etc.

Nope. It would be great for socks. Or gloves/mitts/wrist warmers. Or a cowly thing. Go by the length as to what you might get out of it.

Pix, you are an athlete. Your feet are your best friends ;)

That yarn could take a bit of taming. Or it may just fall into place as soon as you cast it on :)

Vrap, please can you explain what the squirty latex stuff you mentioned a page or so back is? I've never heard of it but it may be what I'm looking for!

speaking (well mailing!) Gnome and excess yarn came up ... it will now find it's way to a craft club at uni along with needles.
I like this idea a lot! Especially if it helps with the mental health aspect of Uni.
It also should give me more space for more yarn! Whoops did I just say that? I mean it will help me tidy up ;-)

That's brilliant, Pix :)

When Fellmouse was in hospital, knitting was one of the things the girls did as a distraction/stress relieving activity, particularly when they had to sit in the lounge being observed for an hour after meals to make sure they kept their food down.
