thank you ... free motion sewing is odd as you have to move the fabric but fun!
The vase looked like a milk bottle then the green looked like pond weed so I'm glad it finished OK!

It looks really good EP! Far better than any atttempts at free-form sewing I've ever attempted - I found it was one of those things that looks far easier than it is..

Becs and Flo have decided that they need to join the craze for mermaid tails, so I have been busy crocheting away...hmm they are very big! They have both seen me working on them, but I'm not entirely sure Flo realises what it is I'm making, despite having asked for on. Becs picked up on this and suggested that I don't give them to them straightaway but use them as their stockings, so that is currently the plan.

Lol! No! When she suggested it i did make sure she realised that they would be getting a lot of air this year if the tails were going to be their stockings, esp as we do stockings as little extras, rather than proper presents as such..

Ha ha, that would have been my response too!

Went in the new John Lewis in Leeds today. I've never really shopped in JL as we've never had one close, but oh it is lovely! I had wide eyes round the fabric/haberdashery section, though the yarn was boring and disappointing. Plus I got a free bag with the Christmas ad animals on it :-)
