Keeping the momentum going with a UT1 session this morning of 2 x 15 min @ r22. Hoping that a few cycles of "base building" will pay off as the year goes on. Right now it's all about that base.

It's all good Nellers. This is similar to what I did yesterday: 30 mins total but without a break and alternating between 20 spm 2k+18 and 24 spm 2k+13 in 5-minute chunks. A nice loosener for a tough run this morning across some pretty sandy and uneven terrain on the coastal path.

You don't seem to have much in the way of flat easy running terrain down your way, do you mate?

Heh, there is one route I can take which is fairly flat, along the river bank. But it's rough underfoot and often muddy. Being at sea level in Cornwall there's not much doing that won't involve heading upwards fairly soon! With some soft sandy ground underfoot as well. But I enjoy going along the coastal path. Atlantic hoolies can be trial but it sure beats breathing in traffic fumes.

Only been to Cornwall once, went for a week about 15 years ago when I happened to be marathon training so I did a lot of running there, the hills were relentless - needed a rest when I got home!

That must be some spreadsheet Nellers, love how you've got the year planned out, sticking to it is the hard part but if you fall off you'll get back on as you always do!
I'm rubbish at sticking to plans which is why I've chosen the Rowalong 5k plan, it's only 5 weeks long 😁 4 sessions in and I'm enjoying it so far.
Does anyone else see glitchy s/m data on Ergdata during intervals? Rep 7 for example was 57 strokes - 28spm would be 56 strokes so it's only one stroke over yet it's recorded 32spm, some other reps recorded 30/31 yet the PM5 showed them all to be 28/29, even C2 logbook showed 28/29 which is weird as it's uploaded from Ergdata 🤔
