Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I imported one from last night. It was just a manual entry into C2 log with no extra detail, but it is some test data at least.

I want to play too but.......I'm staying with the Older Generation in Leicester until Monday. THe nearest day-pass gym has older rowers with PM3s. Not very well maintained either. With the damper on 10 I could only get a drag factor of 89.

Still, 2k warm up, 10k steady, 1k warm down. Done.

I never understand why gyms don't maintain their C2s. It's not that hard ... and they're not cheap.
Anyhoo ... steady 6000m, faster pace at lower hr. Progress continues, towards the inevitable plateau ...

I went back again today and did another sesh at the gym.

2k warm up and 3km warm down. Between that I did the MOnthly Challenge from the Concept 2 Facebook group: 30 mintues at 20 strokes per minute. #

Managed 7167m. I'm quite pleased with that.

Some good training sessions going on here. I'm impressed with your 30 minute total off 20 strokes per minute, Nellers!

I've just tried importing this morning's sessions. Only basic data from me, I'm afraid, but I really love the fact that I don't have to enter everything twice. Many thanks, Fetch!

I found out how to check the drag factor today, but then couldn't remember the range I should be aiming for - doh! Anyway, I've checked that now so will be able to play more effectively with the damper settings from now on.

Next task is investigating the ergdata app. Is that easy to set up?

To mimic a racing scull in flat water they reckon somewhere between 120 and 125 drag factor CW.

Ergdata is a doddle. Even I managed it.

You just go into the setting in the app and link it to your C2 Log account. Then when you start up the monitor on the C2 you just go to utilities or more options and activate the wireless connectivity, make sure your phone has Bluetooth switched on and they should pair up.

That's pretty much it. After your session click the app to sync to the logbook and you're done.

Thanks, Nellers. That's really helpful! I'll try this out when I next go to the gym.

One of the fields Ergdata displays is Drag Factor so it makes it really easy to adjust things the way you want them.
