If you could do us all a favour: Site Suggestion 802 is to have a pace graph included in any non-GPS activity shared to FB/Twitter so we get something pretty/interesting to put up when we share rowing. Give it an upvote please. Thanks.

Knocked out a 60 minute steady state this evening. I had planned some intervals but my HRV App suggested I might want to limit intensity today so I took the advice.

Pete plan week 2. 4x2000m/5:00r
1:54/1:53 pace.

Pre-warning of 2k attempt.
This monthโ€™s C2CTC is 2112m. Plan is to set 2 intervals of 2k and 112m with no rest. Go for 2k and then hang on...

Nice sesh Sinj, and that's going to be a painful evening when you do the 2112! Good luck with it though. You'll smash it again I reckon.

Just 45 minutes at UT2. Held an even pace throughout with hr just creeping towards the ceiling of the band in the last 5 minutes. A pleasant sesh.

A few weeks back there was a conversation about whether heels should lift or not.

All well and good but if I did that I wouldn't have much stroke left!

Anyhoo, 3 x 15-minute stroke ladder done this morning, 18-26 spm. Third one was a bit ragged.

Well the knee behaved after a 5k easy row yesterday so today I hit 10k with no issues. Iโ€™m back in the game but I think the leaders on the table have too big a lead for me to catch them.๐Ÿ˜‰

That's good news, Nellers (I mean about the knee, not the leaderboard).

Nice sessions, Muttley.

Thanks for the link about heel lift, Nellers. It's good to be reminded about aspects of technique, as it made me realise I've develop some more bad habits, like driving off the ball of the foot when I'm giving it some welly.

My mojo's gone AWOL at the moment and I'm just trying to keep ticking over until I work out what I really want to focus on, so now seems a good time to work on technique a bit more.

Hope everyone is fit and well!

Glad your knee is ok Nellers! Mines been playing up (I shouldn't go running) but after four years I've finally managed to get an MRI scan in a couple of weeks.

Exercise has been pretty much non existent during the past month, been busy laying a new patio (spending all that money I saved from cancelled weekends away etc during lockdown) but I'll be back on the erg 1st August after a few days in North Wales next week ๐Ÿ‘

Noticed the World champs are going to be virtual next year, so hopefully we can all find some motivation and stay injury free ๐Ÿคž

3 x 20 minutes @r19 this morning. Knee continues to feel a bit stiff but not sore and not restricting me for rowing at least.
