Mine's called Twoey.

It's nice when you can see the little steps of progress isn't it Muttley? Well done mate.

I only managed one of the Pete plan sessions last week so I'm repeating it. 5500m here we come.

Really pleased with that: each split (1100m as defined by the PM5) was faster than the previous one, and a tiny smidgeon faster than last week.

I hated it for the first 1500m or so (I didn't do a warm up) and absolutely loved it by the end. Which sums up most of my rowing I think!

That sounds like a top session, SK. We love it when a plan comes together :-)

Thanks Muttley, mine wasn't full blown manflu thankfully. Marilyn sounds a good name, mines called Babs, my partner asks me if I'm Babbing tonight 😂

Good to see the enjoyment is returning Nellers!

Nicely done SK, great session!

Babbing it sounds like a euphemism for something, Craggy.;-)

Because "Twoey" lives in the shed I get asked if I'm shedding tonight, which makes me think I'm leaving hair all over the furniture.

Nice session, SK! Great to see the enjoyment coming back.

I hadn't even thought of giving my erg a name (though I have to admit to naming all my cars...)

No chance to sneak past this week, Muttley - work has gone crazy so training is pared right back at the moment.

Did find time for a 2000m TT this morning, though it was nearly rained off (I'm an outdoor indoor rower due to lack of space indoors and a very slippery floor). Managed 8:16.8 off the back of a very negative split (1st 1K in 4:13.4, 2nd 1K in 4:03.4), which is a new PB. :-)

Think I need to do some work on my pacing, though (and do a 1000m TT, as my season's best for that is slower than the second half of my 2K today)!

Ours hasn't got a name either. It's occasionally referred to as The Beast.

Fabulous new PB CW! I have been known to take our C2 outside - in fact in the winter it's not a bad option as I can't stand rowing in a heated room so I turn off the radiators and open the door while I row.

Nellers 😂😂

Congratulations on your new pb CW, that's fantastic and more to come considering how strongly you finished!

I like to row outdoors too, although with the recent bad weather I've been in the conservatory which is nice and cool.

Tonight I did 8 x 400m with 90s rest. 3k warm up, 5k cool down 👍
